Bienvenido “Bones” Bañez Jr. is a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Ford Academy of the Arts in Davao City. For some time he served as associate professor at the Ford Academy and the Philippine Women’s College-Davao. In 2002 he won the Asian Fellowship Painting Competition of the Vermont Studio Center, Vermont, USA, and had since based himself in the US. Last year he was the lone Filipino who qualified to the world’s largest-ever surrealist exhibition held in WAH Center, Brooklyn, New York. Entitled “Brave Destiny,” the juried show was organized by Terrance Lindall himself and gathered 500 surrealists from all over the globe. Brave Destiny was opened to the public with a grand, royal, surrealist costume ball with the Prince of Denmark as one of the special guests. Ben has been in Northern California where he works as art teacher for autistic children. Now, he is widening his horizons in New York, USA.

Why be interested in 666 art world?

Regardless of where you live ,you have no doubt seen for yourself how 666 art world affect the lives of 6-billions of people. For thousands of years mankind has had a spiritual need and yearning.Most people lived with his trial and burden, his doubt and question ,including the mystery of 666 man’s number.On the other hand ,there are billions of people who profess no religion nor any belief in god. Some are atheist,agnostic and they believe God is unknown and unknowable.

But we are talking about a special kind of knowledges that is for greater than 666 human wisdom. If you found certain parts of the document hard to understand,and let us examine the book reveals the knowledge of God. How do we find happiness through the book of revelation?We do so by searching out the meaning of its vivid sign,or symbols and acting in harmony there with.

Logically, question come to our mind. From where did all these 666 art world come? Did they start independently,or could they developed from one source? The answer to these question are of vital important to all who are interested in finding the truth about 666 art world.

HERE IS WHERE WISDOM COMES IN: LET THE ONE THAT HAS INTELLIGENCE CALCULATE THE NUMBER OF THE WILD BEAST, FOR IT IS A MAN’S NUMBER , AND ITS NUMBER IS 666.ACCORDING TO REVELATION 13:18

A name identified a person of the worldly system.So how does this number identify the beast? John says that it “is a man’s number” not that of a spirit person or demons so the names help to confirm the wild beast is Earthly ,symbolizing human rulers this worldly system they are political artist,religions as an artists,and business as an artists too they can manipulate the people of the world of visible art. Just as six fails to measure up to seven, so 666 is a degree- is a fitting name for the world gigantic political system that fails so miserably to measure up to God’s standard of perfection. Therefore we are living of the 666 art world!!! And those who loves the worldly desire of the flesh and desire of the eyes and the showy display of ones means of life its a 666 art world!!! Hence, it reflects human failing resulting from sin and imperfection its very interesting for the artists to inspired us. And these are very interesting the matters of MAN’s WISDOM is 666 into a Mystic various way of seeing of our artists are universal movement like : Egyptian artwork,Assyrian artwork, Babylon artwork,Medo-Persia artwork,Greek artwork,Roman artwork, Asean artwork and these presents days as Modern Art World its a universal movement they are very interesting. The 666 arts movement are the expression of various style of our interpretaion, rendition style, and multiplicity culture in these presence world of art. The elements of the 666 artworld are visible line in life,visible colors in life,visible form in life,visible space in life,visible texture in life,visible volume in life,visible value in life,and musics in life too,and also unseen form in the universe. THE ORIGIN SIN AS A 666 WISDOM:

Unfortunately for mankind, our first parents abused their Free Will and chose to be independents from God, They were spurred on by a rebellious spirit creature who came to be known Satan the Devil the source of 666 art world. The gods and goddesses of this world coveted independence from God and the worship that rigthly belongs to God alone… Therefore the disobedience of Satan and our first parents brought imperfection as a 666-art world, and these proginitor of violence art world, death art world,suffering art world and our last days what we call Great Tribulation art world to all mankind. These are subconscious worldly desire as a human imperfection in our world 666 art system in our life. Some reference from Holy Scripture:

1. Extraordinary size and his finger and toes were in “sixes”. According to 1Chronicles 20:6
2. King Nebuchadnezzar erected a golden image 6-cubits in breadth and 60 cubits high, to unify his political official in one worship.According to Daniel 3:1-23
3. The perfect angel turn into resister became Satan the Devil because he gave in to the desire for self-exaltation as an artists of the world.Satan is Perfect,Beauty,and Wisdom-According to Ezekiel 28:2,12,13,14,15,and 17…
4. and our whole world dominate from wicked spirit. According to 1John 5:19

CLUES TO THE MEANING OF 666:

1. In the Bible book of Daniel, the various beast represent successive human kingdoms,or empires. The composite beast of Revelation 13:1,2 symbolizes the worldwide political system,empowered and control by dark side of the spirit or satan the devil.
2. The Beast’s having “a man’s number” or “a human number”, indicates that it is a human entity ,not a demon. Hence, it reflects human failing resulting from sin and imperfection.
3. In God,s eyes,the number six , being short of the Biblically complete,or perfect,seven,points to imperfection.The mark 666 emphasizes that deficiency by repeating the number three times.

SIX REPEATED THREE TIMES WHY?

In scriptures, certain numbers have symbolic significance.The number seven, for example,is often used to symbolize that which is complete, or perfect, in God’s eyes. For instance, God’s creative week comprises seven ‘days,’ or extended time periods, during which God completely accomplishes his creative purpose regarding the earth.(Genesis 1:3-2:3) God’s “saying” are like silver that has been “clarified seven times,” thus perfectly refined. (Psalm 12:6; Proverbs 30:5,6) The leper Naaman was told to bathe seven times in Jordan River, after which he was completely healed.-2Kings5:10,14.

Six is one short of seven. Would it not be a fitting symbols of something of something imperfect, or defective, in God’s eyes? Yes,indeed!!! (1Chronicles 20:6,7) Moreover, six repeated three times, as 666, powerfully stresses that imperfection. That this is the correct view is supported by the fact that 666 is “a human number,” as we have considered. Thus,the beast’s record, its ”human number,” and the number 666 itself all points to one unmistakable conclusion- gross shortcoming and failure in the eyes of God. The portrayal of the beast’ deficiencies calls to mind what was said about King Belshazzar of ancient Babylon. Through Daniel, Jehovah said to that ruler:”You have been weighed in the balances and have been found deficient.”That very night Belshazzar was killed, and the mighty Babylonian Empire fell. (Daniel 5:27,30) Likewise, God’s judgment of the political beast and of those with its mark spells the end of that entity and its supporters. these are very interesting topic of art origin and i will call or verification the 666 SURREALISM ART WORLD!!!

666-SURREALISM: A study of creative potential of the unconscious mind,for example by the irrational juxtaposition of images. As for me these are the product of Human Imperfection as for me 666-ArtWorld… the art of automatic writing, automatic painting and paranormal vision.And these are related to pure psychic in vision, these are the descendants from Adam and Eve sinned that cause us abnormal to fantastic desire.

And another question did you notice that God create Man in six days creation. And those who insist on going their own way, independent of God, make the same mistakes that Adam and Eve made. For my understanding the first surrealist life, Pair assumed the right to determine for themselves what is good vision and what is bad future.

Our sinful human nature craves undue glory, this is because we are the descendants of a sinful couple,Adam and Eve, who gave in to selfish craving. Among this World-666 common goal is a craving for satisfying ”the desire of the sinful flesh and the desire of the eyes and showy display of one’s means of LIFE WAS FANTASTIC and HORROR!!!

Therefore this is our inspiration to my art world and our new philosophy in this coming great tribulation as a Lasts Days system… either you like it or not this is my understanding in the Surreal-World!!!

And these are another interesting subjects in mystery numbers, for one thing Satan the devil and his demons were hurled down to the vicinity of the earth. But for us ,we cannot stop drawing and painting and sculpture about the things we have seen and heard. Before us in ancient time like Egyptian arts,Babylon arts,Assyrian art,Greek art,Roman art and also the time Hierynumous Bosch and Peter Brugel could not hold back from carrying out thier commision to painting and drawing in a surreal world.

And my thanks to Sir Terrance Lindall, he is the author of the New International Surrealist Manifesto and the largest ever Surrealism Exhibition in the History of the Arts,the Brave Destiny Show back in 2003 at the WAH-CENTER,its current impact on the World Art HIstory today. The World’s First GRAND PARADISE LOST COSTUME BALL

Featured visual artists for the festival included: Kris Kuksi, one of the most highly regarded artists in the contemporary surreal/visionary movement, whose work is in the collection of Chris Weitz, Director of the new movie, The Golden Compass, based upon Philip Pullman’s book and grounded in John Milton’s Paradise Lost. Also included were, an American comic book artist best known for his work on Marvel Comics’ The Fantastic Four in the mid-1970’s, who produced a portrait of John Milton for the 21st century; Bienvenido Bones Banez, a Filipino surrealist whose work is based on his “666 World View” and Olek, with her conceptual, cutting edge fashion.

The Paradise Lost Elephant Folio

In 2011 and 2012 Lindall will be working on production of “The Paradise Lost Elephant Folio,” a hand-embellished and gold illuminated 13 x 19 inch book containing 14 full-page printed illustrations with hand-embellished borders. Production will be limited to 10 copies, each having one original conceptual drawing at the front. [36]

The borders of the elephant folio are complete paintings in themselves. Although the border art focuses principally on elements of design, they also tell stories about what is illustrated in the featured central paintings. The borders also are tributes to both humanity’s great achievements, such as music, dance and architecture, as well as tribute to those individuals and institutions and friends who have had important influences on his ideas, or who have shown substantial support or affinity. For example, the Filipino surrealist artistBienvenido “Bones” Banez, Jr. [37] discovered Lindall’s repertoire during the Brave Destiny Show and communicated to Lindall the idea of how “Satan brings color to the world.” Lindall thought the idea to be an insightful and original “affinity” and so he honors Banez in the page of the elephant folio that is a tribute to art by placing Banez’s name under an artist’s palette of colors in the border.

“The Eagle Man” art as story telling

Central to the most of his works is the human figure, which is often appropriated as a narrative and allegorical device, as seen in the works of Davao artist Ben Banez of the Ford Academy of the Arts. Perhaps unconsciously borrowing from the popular sub cultural sources. His works assimilate the neurotic energies of heavy metal comics, with their dense and profusely crowded spaces disorienting perspectives and a preponderance of Grotesque imageries.

Banez seemingly blasphemous visuality (exemplified by his direct reference to the Ant-Christ) stems from a Apocalyptic conviction that the world is in exorably hurtling to end, via what he termed as ” The breakdown of World religions.”

Banez works stand out, not only because of their defamiliarizing effects, but also because they are going against the grim and determined thematics of the social realists tradition, purveyed by both its progenitors in the metropolis and their clones in the regions. At the same time, they also violate the drawing room decorum of what it constitutes most of the works of Davao and its satellites. But Banez, merits does not lie in the way he transcended this thematic and formal clichés. He must always be reducible to religious and institutional manifestations.

Despite these reservations, the values of Banez contribution to the bandwagon of nostalgic indulgence, currently being reproduced and legitimized by market forces, the mass media and even the academe.

A very nice article. I was accepted to Fordham for their PhD program in philosophy back in 1970. They had a great Jesuit professor named Alice Jordain. I went to NYU instead and was disappointed with NYU’s analytic school of thought which came to a dead end in the 20th Century. Anyway, this is a great Catholic university. Twisted Paradise in Williamsburg Celebrates Milton’s 400th

The paintings of Bienvenido Bones Banez, Jr., another featured surrealist artist of the exhibit, are filled with psychedelic colors, lines, dots and othergeometric figures, which combine to concoct paintings reflecting his interest in the “666” worldview. In one painting, Satan is a serpent-like creature with the colors of flames surrounding his head and the figures below that could easily be representations of Satan’s children, Sin and Death, as described in “Paradise Lost.”

The 17th-century English poet John Milton had no such pessimistic thoughts. In his epic poem Paradise Lost, he wrote that God created the earth to be a paradise home for the human family. That original Paradise was lost. However, Milton believed that it would be restored—that a redeemer in the person of Jesus Christ would one day “reward his faithful, and receive them into bliss . . . in Heaven or Earth.” Milton confidently declared: “For then the Earth shall all be Paradise.”

From Master Terrance Lindall: This allows me to do things I have not done as of yet. Wickenheiser is teaching in The School of Inspirational Passion. One of his students is Steve Fallon{ Stephen Fallon), arguably the foremost Milton scholar of our time. Fallon studied under Wickenheiser. On the right is Bienvenido Bones Banez admiring Satan for “…giving color to the world.” My Celestial orbit is still the major philosophical interpreation of the poem, but this is a mural that expresses the poetic passion.

This is the most complex drawing I have done. Because it is the basis for the mural, which will be more complex. More major figures: Archangel Michael, Milton dictating, visionary foal. Lots of new animals, fox, rabbit, snail, frog, turtle. rat, bat, cockroach, butterffy etc.. There s a “visual logic” to the composition too. if one analyzes it. Again, the Circular Orbit is intellectually more profound. But this will be as compositionally complex. You can see the biblical trials of early humanity on the road leading from Adam & Eve expulsion: Cain killing Abel, The flood, Slavery by Egyptians, Mary with baby Jesus, Christ Tempted in the desert, the Cruxifiction. across the way under Satan’s fall is war on earth, the Armageddon, with an airplane dropping bombs, people fleeing, an Israeli tank rolling over people on the road from the American flag to Jerusalem. I have to develop the Apotheosis, but Adam and Eve will receive laurel wreaths from an archangel while God beams welcome. It is the archetypal mythical history of mankind from creation down to the end of time (for humanity).

The result of both the story, really the greatest story ever told put into the greatest poem ever written in the English language, inspires artists and composers. There is Bienvenido pointing at Satan as his inspiration, Bien is the greatest illustrator and interpreter of Satan of all time. I sit behind Bien painting Adam and Eve. There is Amanda Husberg singing and Peter Dizozza playing an an unknown violinist. And, of curse blind Milton dictating to his daughter.
